Water Foliage III

Water foliage III experiments the concept of flow and movement of water theough papier mache carving. It tries to capture the essence of curvilinear designs representing the movement of water depicted in traditional Nepalese wood and stone carving. At the same time the foliage tries to find a resemblance with the representation of ripples formed on water surfaces.

In this series, the foliage are the reflection of my conversation with the element, at times as a snapshot for how I experience the element, at other times as an extended process of acceptance and being with water.
